February is when the most snow falls on the hills so it is peak winter mountaineering season. If you want to see Scotland in its winter coat this is the month to try. Sometimes the winter snowstorms can bring snow to even lower levels and with all the water reflecting the mountains it can be stunning for adventure phototography.
