Coillemore House is where families and friends come to disconnect from the world and reconnect with each other, nestled in the heart of the Scottish Highlands and a stones throw from the Isle of Skye.

Our stylish Scottish manor house is available for weekly or half weekly exclusive rental for up to 10 guests. Set in the Scottish National Trusts Balmacara Estate. With seaviews across the Kyle of Lochalsh to the Isle of Skye which is just 10 mins down the road we are perfectly located for a holiday to enjoy the whole of the West Coast of Scotland.

Something for the whole family, including 2 reception rooms, one with an open fire for enjoying drams of whisky and chats and another for cosying up and watching a movie or playing games, a chef’s kitchen with plenty of space for breakfasting and easy dinners seating 10, a separate formal dining space for special occasions seating eight or with a couple of spare chairs it seats 10, for relaxing after the days activities a wood fired hot tub and fire pit, a ground floor bedroom and wet room perfect for grandparents or guests with mobility needs, tree swings in the large enclosed garden with plenty of space to run around play hide and seek or kick a ball, a sauna coming in autumn 2025 and a top floor games room with pool table and foosball table.

  • We had a wonderful week in this beautiful luxurious house - which was even more lovely than the photos. It’s the perfect place to get away from it all - with wild walks right from your doorstep and sea and lochs to jump into (yes cold but invigorating!). Very spacious, well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, only sound at night are the owls. Can’t recommend enough - dreaming of a return trip!

  • My family and I have just returned from a fantastic week at Coillemore House. The house is extremely comfortable, beautifully decorated and well equipped, with fantastic views of Skye and direct access to footpaths from the front door. The hot tub was a particular hit with the children! The Co-op in Kyle just a few minutes drive away is well-stocked and meant we had everything required for a great holiday. We really hope to return!
